1. About Our Platform
MyNagarSevak is an independent citizen initiative built with the goal of bringing citizens closer to their elected ward corporators. We act as a friendly digital bridge that helps communication flow more easily between the people and their representatives.
Please note that MyNagarSevak is not an official government portal or a statutory complaint redressal service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), or any other government body.
2. About Issue Resolution
The issues you raise on MyNagarSevak are shared for awareness and communication purposes. While we sincerely hope every concern receives the attention it deserves, we are unable to guarantee that any specific issue will be acknowledged, acted upon, or resolved within a fixed timeframe.
Issues may be marked as pending, in progress, resolved, or rejected at the discretion of the respective corporator or administrator. We kindly ask citizens to understand that delays — and sometimes even non-resolution — can happen for many reasons beyond anyone's control.
3. Limitation of Liability
While we work hard to make MyNagarSevak helpful and reliable, we kindly request our users to understand that MyNagarSevak, its team, developers, and affiliates cannot be held responsible or liable for:
• Any delay, rejection, or non-resolution of issues raised on the platform
• Any loss, damage, injury, or unfortunate incident that may arise from or relate to unresolved or delayed civic issues
• Any action or inaction by corporators, municipal authorities, or other government bodies
• Any consequences arising from information shared through the platform
We share this not to step away from responsibility, but to set honest expectations with our users.
4. About Our Corporators
Corporators featured on MyNagarSevak are elected public representatives serving their wards. Their presence on our platform is to make them more accessible to citizens — it does not create any additional legal duty for them to resolve issues within a specific timeframe.
We kindly ask citizens to remember that civic issue resolution often involves multiple authorities, departments, and factors that may be beyond the control of any individual corporator.
5. User Responsibilities
We warmly welcome every citizen to use MyNagarSevak. To keep the platform helpful and trustworthy, we request all users to:
• Share accurate and truthful information when raising issues
• Use the platform respectfully and avoid false, malicious, or defamatory complaints
• Understand that MyNagarSevak and its corporators cannot be held legally responsible for outcomes
• Treat this platform as a helpful addition to — and not a replacement for — official civic complaint channels such as the BMC helpline or municipal offices
6. Not a Legal Forum
MyNagarSevak is a community communication platform, not a legal or judicial forum. We kindly request that no legal proceedings, claims, or actions be initiated against MyNagarSevak, its team, or any corporator based on the issues raised, responses given, or outcomes shown on this platform.
7. Content Moderation
To keep MyNagarSevak safe, respectful, and useful for everyone, we may moderate, edit, unpublish, or remove any content — including issues, comments, or user accounts — when necessary. We will always try to act fairly, though prior notice may not always be possible.
