1. Nature of the Platform

MyNagarSevak is an independent, non-governmental citizen initiative that serves as a digital communication bridge between citizens and their elected ward corporators. It is NOT an official complaint redressal portal, government service, or statutory body.

The platform is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), or any other government entity.

2. No Guarantee of Resolution

Issues raised on MyNagarSevak are for informational and communication purposes only. The platform does not guarantee that any issue will be acknowledged, acted upon, or resolved.

Issues may be marked as pending, in progress, resolved, or rejected at the discretion of the respective corporator or administrator. Delays in resolution or non-resolution of issues are inherent possibilities.

3. Limitation of Liability

MyNagarSevak, its operators, developers, and affiliates shall not be held responsible or liable for:

• Any delay, rejection, or non-resolution of issues raised on the platform

• Any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from or related to unresolved or delayed civic issues

• Any action or inaction by corporators, municipal authorities, or government bodies

• Any consequences resulting from information shared on the platform

4. No Liability of Corporators

Corporators listed on the platform are public representatives. Their presence on MyNagarSevak does not create any additional legal obligation to resolve issues within any specific timeframe.

Citizens acknowledge that civic issue resolution involves multiple authorities and factors beyond the control of any individual corporator.

5. User Responsibilities

By using this platform, users agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when raising issues

• Not misuse the platform for false, malicious, or defamatory complaints

• Not hold MyNagarSevak or any corporator legally liable for issue resolution outcomes

• Understand that this platform supplements, and does not replace, official civic complaint mechanisms (e.g., BMC helpline, municipal offices)

6. Not a Legal Forum

MyNagarSevak is not a legal or judicial forum. No legal proceedings, claims, or actions can be initiated against MyNagarSevak, its operators, or corporators based on issues raised, responses given, or outcomes on this platform.

7. Content Moderation

MyNagarSevak reserves the right to moderate, edit, unpublish, or delete any content including issues, comments, or user accounts without prior notice.

8. Data & Privacy

User data collected is used solely for platform functionality. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Changes to Terms

MyNagarSevak reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
